Expressions Family Dental is located in Waxhaw, NC and made up of a group of devoted dental staff. In 1999, Dr. Nelatoor received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery and in 2004, received her Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry, New York.

DeDe comes to us with over 20 years of work experience in the dental field. She enjoys helping patients with their dental needs with care and compassion. She lives in Waxhaw, NC.

The entire staff here is amazing! I am so glad they are near my home and accept my dental insurance. I was in a bit of a pickle and the dentist was personable, well versed,honest, caring and thorough from the beginning. Let’s face it, no one likes going to the dentist but they have my 100% trust! I won’t go anywhere else and will refer everyone here. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for taking care of me! I wish I could give you a 10 star!

My last event was a cleaning and the one before that was a crown add. Both events were very successful. The doctor and her staff were very accommodating, welcoming, and professional. We have 4 boys, age 5-14 and Dr. Suganya Nelatoor was amazing! Not only was everyone very friendly and hospitable, all our teeth were cleaner than I’ve seen them after a dental visit... ever! She is great about explaining options and working with you for the best/most cost effective options for dental necessities. They are also quick to get appointments made. I took my son here for his first ever dental visit and they made him feel so comfortable and were so sweet with him! The staff was very patient with him and took their time so that he never got scared and they explained everything they were doing thoroughly. I went here for a cleaning myself and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs with being pregnant and they were so excited to see my son again. We will definitely be seeing them as a family for many years!

Dr Suganya Nelatoor was absolutely wonderful and easy to work with. My father who was visiting had some dental issues and she was very accommodating and understanding of the problem. Explained everything thoroughly before the procedure. She certainly goes the extra mile in caring for her patients. The entire process was seamless and my dad was very happy with the outcome. The staff were very friendly and made my father feel comfortable throughout the process. Very reasonably priced for people without insurance.

Excellent customer service! Very thorough and gentle. They did a procedure I was terrified about and I walked away with no pain and able to do future procedures with panicking. I haven’t been to the dentist in years, mainly because I have had bad experiences in the past. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I’m usually so nervous going to the dentist but not this time. Dr. Nelatoor is wonderful, the best dentist I’ve ever been to. She really took her time with me and went through my x rays and pictures explaining her thoughts. I really felt like I could trust her and that she really wanted what was best for my dental care. Their prices are great too, I don’t have dental insurance but they offer very reasonable packages. I’m so thankful to have found this office and it’s so close to where I live.

Everyone was friendly and professional. My daughter (age 11) needed a filling after having had a procedure at another dentist's office. Dr. Nelatoor was very kind, patient and explained all the options before moving forward. My daughter was able to get her dental work done while watching a movie and was completely at ease. I love this dentist's office! Super clean, front desk staff was super friendly. Dental hygienist and dentist were really nice, knowledgeable. I was able to get an appointment really quickly. I have switched my kids over to this dentist also as I had such a great experience. She was not pushy to get me to do any kind of unnecessary treatments.

When looking for a quality dentist with great training and exceptional patient care, look no further than Dr. Nelatoor. I needed a dentist appointment ASAP, I called Dr. Nelatoor's office and within a day I was seated in her chair. She took care of my dental concerns/issues and offered the most conservative approach possible that was the least invasive in terms of pain and financial burden. She also makes it a point to follow-up with her patients via calls and/or text messages to make sure you've continued to do well and are satisfied with the care provided. Dr. Suganya Nelatoor is very professional and detail oriented. She takes the time to explain everything to the patient in layman language. My kids felt very comfortable with her. My mom was so pleased. I loved the fact that the Dentist herself did the teeth cleaning unlike most other places. The office was sparkling clean and welcoming. I recently visited Expressions Family Dental for Orthodontic consultation. Dr. Nelatoor was very friendly and thorough in taking all my impressions for the Invisalign treatment. She even recommended more personal customization for my case. She explained all the details on what we should expect during the treatment. She even showed me the simulation of the teeth correction during and after the treatment. I look forward to start my Invisalign treatment soon.
